Friday night, the United Nations did their best to help the world come together. By dancing in the Bohemian National Hall.

The United Nations sponsored the inaugural Unity Ball, a charity event in the wherein their guests were asked to develop cultural unity through social dancing. Numerous UN Ambassadors migrated uptown for the evening was filled with exquisite dancing and beautiful dancers, including Dancing With The Stars Edyta Sliwinska and New York ballroom luminaries Bill Davies and Bonnie Diaz.

The Unity Ball was filled with professional ballroom dancers who not only provided on the spot one on one instruction, but also were available as dance partners throughout the night. The highlights of the evening, besides Sliwinska's blue dress, were two dances with Ms. Sliwinska, which were auctioned off in support of the United Nations Staff 1% Development Fund.
