Do Your Research
Once you've decided what broader category of sorority you want to join, it's super important to do research on what each organization at your school stands for. If you care about women's rights, sororities like AXO and Gamma Phi Beta work with charities that support domestic violence victims and focus on empowering young girls. Other sororities support different causes: SDT supports victims of child abuse, KKG advocates for literacy across America, and Kappa Alpha Theta supports CASA which helps find foster children homes. You'll be doing a lot of philanthropic work, so if you care about the cause, you'll be more enthusiastic and get to meet other girls who care about the same things as you.
