[Jessica Schroeder, Can we be friends?]
I have a crush. A girl crush. On another blogger. Jessica Schroeder is funny, beautiful, and more charming than any blogger I've come across (excluding my sister). She manages a kick ass personal Tumblr along with "What I Wore" and "My Daily Bread" that are brilliant photos of just that. She gets the fact that "STYLE" is a word much like "CLASS", you don't just get it by adhering to seasonal trends or by walking into boutiques on Mulberry Street. You are just as likely to find it walking around in Indiana as you are on Madison Ave. (Well, maybe she's atypical but you get the point). You either have it or you don't, and Jessica, clearly DOES.
More story and photos below:
There are other "Fashion Bloggers" that I just really don't dig (their own style is worse than mine and that's not saying much...and I'm supposed to get tips from them?).
To each their own yes, but someone like Jessica has an INDISPUTABLE eye for this. She should be writing for VOGUE and known around the globe as the hot stylist that is known for making thrift look decadent. Someday she will. She reads The Alchemist, likes college football, and gives a handy tutorial on how to tie a scarf that will, no doubt, change my entire season. She listens to This American Life. I will let the photos of her from "What I Wore" and "Love Puppy" speak for themselves, but I am sending out my energies to the universe Paulo Coehlo style in hopes that I can collaborate with her on SOMETHING...anything.
We are meeting for coffee tomorrow.
I am nervous about what to wear.

Plovgh, the new online farmers market
Who knew that the farming world had a trend? Well, Mallory Sustick, a Brooklyn bartender, works like a dog to maintain, promote and advance the online farmer's market startup Plovgh that began after noticing a need for more local farm market distribution.

if no one liked her it's probably because they were jealous. girls never like tall, beautiful girls with potential.

Jealous of HER??? Ha ha ha - good one. If you want to find out why she wasn't liked, go to her blog called "in pursuit of..." - you are going to be shocked!!!
