Lowman’s recent piece, Thirty Million Dollar Smile, is a halftone transfer of a photograph of Julia Roberts originally taken for a Loreal campaign. Roberts then rejected the photo because she felt the image was over-photoshopped. The work can be found on the exterior wall of a former muffler shop at the corner of Venice Boulevard and La Cienega Boulevard in L.A.
