Meet Rush Manadon. Rush is 6 and already more cool than John Mayer. The kid has been on Tumblr for over a year. And, besides being a bad ass skate boarder and kung fu master, he's pretty much the coolest thing we've seen on the internet this year. Tavi who?

What makes Rush so cool (besides David Karp, founder of Tumblr's, stamp of approval)?

Get this:

• He Skateboards! A lot. And, he's really really good. Loads of videos of him doing his thing grace his site. Some of my favorites are embedded at bottom of the post.

• He goes to the Moma. And, doesn't get all pretentious about the outing.

• He hangs out at the Soho House. And isn't a banker.

• He goes to parties where the Virgins are playing and opens doors for Kirstin Dunst. Julianne Moore smiles at him.

• He goes flying... by himself.
  

• He goes to Chinatown and Soho. He sees dead rats there and take photos of them.

• He knows how to play the trumpet, and the guitar, and even charms snakes.

• He's super artistic, loves his parents, and writes cool shout outs to his grandma Lola. He also is more cultured than most 25 year olds we've met. He volunteers for christ's sakes! At the age of 5!

A first grader at the Morris Brandon Elementary School in Atlanta, GA; Rush divides his time between his "mama" in Georgia and his "papa" in NYC. I want to be friends with him IRL....
