A First Look Inside The New Whitney Museum At Its Inaugural Dinner

The new Whitney Museum. It hasn't even opened yet but it's all we can talk about - and for good reason. Designed by Renzo Piano, the breathtaking new space is set to open on May 1, but artists and VIPs got a first look at the new building last night during its inaugural gala dinner. Everyone from Michael Bloomberg and Rufus Wainwright (who performed) to legendary contemporary artists Chuck Close and Cindy Sherman attended the A-list event, which was detailed and designed by master party planner Bronson van Wyck.
