Bill Clinton was honored with the Humanitarian Award by the Services for the Underserved. The former President couldn't attend the gala at Lincoln Center, so he sent his daughter Chelsea on his behalf (Poor Chelsea arrived in crutches due to her broken, so Bill better have had a good excuse for not making it out!).-

The President did however accept his award by video message, which was followed by a performance by Mary Wilson of the Supremes.

All proceeds from the event will go directly to benefit Services for the Underserved, which provides housing and supportive services to New Yorkers with special needs/challenges.

At $500 a ticket, we're hoping the guests themselves weren't underserved at dinner! (Sorry, sorry...we had to.)
