While some celebs are flying off to Haiti to be a bother help, other, more practically minded movers and shakers mobilized to organize a benefit at Thom Bar, 100% of the proceeds from which went straight to the American Red Cross. Narciso Rodriguez, Cynthia Rowley, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, Mickey Boardman, Peter Davis and Luigi Tadini were just a few of the hosts who gave their names, time, and money to the event. But the socialites and celebrities that comprise New York's elite weren't the only heroes of the night: the staff for the fundraiser worked for free, and generously donated all tips to Haiti Relief, proving you don't have to have a large pocketbook to make a difference.
