The concept is simple: HIV+ women in Rwanda who survived the 1994 genocide make bracelets made of handblown glassbeads. The bracelets are then sold throughout the world, thus giving the women a chance to rebuild their lives. The bracelets are $160, and have been worn by celebrities such as Meryl Streep, Halle Berry, Donna Karan, and Tinsley Mortimer.
