The Young Associates of the Valerie Fund held their first annual gala this past Sunday at the Midtown Lofts and Terrace, the Waterside School held their bowling tournament at Bowlmor Lanes, and the BackSpin 2011 XBox Kinect table tennis tournament took place at General Assembly. The Young Associates of the Valerie Fund toasted the night away at their 1st Annual Valerie Fund Junior Board Gala. With raffles from Haru, Nobu and the MLB Network and food from Dell'anima, L'Artusi and Anfora the young board was able to unwind while benefiting young children with cancer and blood disorders.

BackSpin 2011 XBox Kinect Table Tennis Tournament

NYC techies rejoiced this weekend as they were given a valid reason for staying in and hitting that XBox hard. Backspin 2011 took place this Saturday at General Assembly. The proceeds of this XBox Kinect Table Tennis Tournament benefit Child's Play a non-profit agency which provides books, games and consoles to hospitals across North America.

The Waterside School Bowling Challenge

Giving seemed to be the theme of the weekend especially at The Waterside School Bowling Challenge which took place at Bowlmor Lanes Times Square. Attendees enjoyed a fun afternoon of bowling and the money raised at the event is used to fund the school and all of its programs.
