Last week, Trudie Styler’s new film Freak Show premiered in New York City sponsored by The Cinema Society and mega beauty retailer, Bluemercury. Styler makes her directorial debut with a comedy-drama that tells the story of Billy Bloom; a witty, over-the-top, glitter-loving teenage boy in an ultra-conservative high school (everyone loves a good, non-conformist story these days). The Sunshine Landmark Cinema attracted its star-studded cast members and other notable attendees, like Bluemercury COO Barry Beck, Hugh Jackman, Deborra-Lee Furness, designer Donna Karan, Sting, Martha Stewart, Arianna Huffington, Shaggy, legendary club kid James St. James, Theodora Richards, Cynthia Rowley, and more, before flocking to Ian Schrager’s PUBLIC Hotel for Qui tequila night caps and some wild shenanigans.
