Inside Evenings At Renaissance: The Confetti Project

by guestofaguest · December 9, 2016

This week Renaissance New York Midtown Hotel, which opened spring 2016, partnered with Indiewalls, to create an evening of interactive art experience at the hotel.

The wildly popular event, curated by Indiewalls with The Confetti Project, featured a photo opportunity by the Project’s founder Jelena Aleksich, who is fascinated by the nostalgic yet emotive quality behind confetti. The mainly millennial crowd was awash in colorful confetti trying to answer the question “What do you celebrate?” that Jelena asks her subjects. Before leaving, attendees stopped by Rock & Reilly’s gastropub on the fifth floor, indulging in the restaurant’s gourmet offerings such as the ceviche platter, pork buns and signature crispy rock shrimp.

Touted, “Evenings at Renaissance” the regularly held lobby activities offer the local community unique experiences. From performances featuring local musicians to food & wine tastings, there’s always something intriguing, inspiring and thought provoking happening at Renaissance New York Midtown.

All are welcome to enjoy the Evenings at Renaissance activations on the sixth floor of this ultra high-tech property. Take a look at upcoming Evenings at Renaissance here. They hope to see you soon!
