For more than four decades the American Museum of Natural History has hosted their annual Museum Dance, bringing together young New Yorkers for an evening of dinner, dancing, and a silent auction. This year the dance was held "Under the Sea" in the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life to celebrate the new spring exhibition Whales: Giants of the Deep and the 10th anniversary of the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life. All of the funds raised will go towards scientific and educational programs, which enable thousands of under served New York City school children to visit the museum annually.
