Kaight, the eco-friendly boutique in the Lower East Side, launched its pop-up collaboration with Melissa Shoes last night. Guests got a sneak peek at the "store within a store" which will showcase shoes from the brand's spring collection.

Attendees received an exclusive consultation with Melissa reps. Rabbit Mafia supplied the vegan snacks and 44North brought the cocktails. Don't feel too bad about missing the opening, though: every week new styles and shipments will be coming in.

If the collaboration works out well, Kaight will continue the pop-up trend with other fashion-forward and sustainable brands. The concept in itself is pretty green: putting two shops into one reduces space! So help out the planet and go buy some heels!!
