Foodies and drink enthusiasts alike came together last night at New York Media's 11th Annual New York Taste event hosted by New York Magazine's culinary editor Gillian Duffy. Over fifty of New York's finest restaurants and noteworthy bars gave samplings of their fare to guests. Seen at the scene were Alex Guarnaschelli of Butter, Dan Barber of Blue Hill & Blue Hill at Stone Barns, Masaharu Morimoto of Morimoto and the hit-show Iron Chef America and Zakary Pelaccio of Fatty Crab, plus over 1,000 hungry event-goers (most of them grabbing the amazing 3-day short rib from SHO Shaun Hergatt, which one could wax poetic about).
Proceeds from the evening went to City Harvest, the world's first food rescue organization. Clearly, no one went hungry.
