NYC's Next Generation Of Philanthropists Turn Out To Support Teach For America

New York’s next generation of philanthropists showed up in full force to support NYC schools at last night’s Teach For America-New York Fall Fling, hosted by the organization’s Young Professionals Committee.

The event brought together more than 300 rising young leaders at Marquee NYC, raising $150,000 and celebrating the 6,000 talented teachers TFA has brought to New York over the past 25 years, benefiting more than 600,000 kids.

All proceeds from last night’s event go directly toward TFA’s programs to recruit, train, and support committed teachers for the NYC kids that need them most. Over the past eight years, TFA’s Young Professionals Committee has raised nearly $1 million for NYC kids through these Fall Fling events. See TFA-New York’s Facebook page for highlights from last night’s event and to learn more. #FallFling15 #Teach4NY
