Last night, a "Soirée" was held in honor of Malcolm Dorson's first novel, Octopus Summer. The party was held at Lisa Perry on Madison Avenue, with an after-party at Orsay. -

Summer, or at least spring, was definitely in the air, as guests donned bright colored Lisa Perry dresses and bare legs as they listened to Dorson read excerpts from his summery tale. Though we have a few more months to wait until summer's official start, we can live vicariously through Dorson's protagonist as we wait out the last blusters of cold (ish) weather and dream about reading on the beach...
