Yesterday afternoon, Annette Bening, Kerry Washington, and Jane Fonda were the guests of honor at a lunch celebrating the new movie, "Mother And Child". -

The film, which also stars Naomi Watts, Jimmy Smits, and Samuel L Jackson, tells the story of three women (Watts, Bening, and Washington), whose lives are profoundly affected by adoption. It was directed by veteran television writer Rodrigo Garcia.

Jane Fonda hosted the lunch, along with Tina Brown and UES fixture Chrsitine Schwarzman, who lent her Park Avenue home to the event.
