Last night, writers, editors, artists, and actors gathered together at the Paramount Hotel Library Bar to celebrate the launch of New York Magazine's "My First New York", a collection of stories that chronicle the recollections of people from when they first moved to the city. -

Parker Posey, Dan Rather, Paul Johnson Calderon, Alex Osipow, and Chuck Close were among the attendees. The book itself includes "new kid on the block" tales written by Nora Ephron, Rufus Wainwright, James Franco, Richie Rich, Amy Sedaris, Nick Denton, Diane von Furstenberg, and Michel Gondry.
