The exhibit seeks to explore how the "philosophy of beauty" is allied to the craft of dressmaking. It focuses on 25 American fashion designers, from the early 20th century to the present, including contemporary names such as Isabel Toledo and the Mulleavy sisters of Rodarte. Check it out at the Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology from November 6th to January 9th.
