[All photos by Amber De Vos for PMc] Jennifer Connelly & Paul Bettany hosted the 2010 Tribeca Ball, held last night at the New York Academy of Art. Olivia Palermo, Parker Posey, Helena Christensen, Alexandra and Theodora Richards, Alek Wek, Amy Sacco, and Lucy and Euan Skyes were among the bold-name patrons of the arts.-

The evening began with an open studio portion, where guests were able to explore the workspaces of the artists whose work they were supporting. Following the studio tour, guests were seated for dinner, followed by dancing.

Amazingly, the guests didn't seem to be too confused by the invitation's instruction to wear "Upscale Downtown" attire. Despite the convoluted and somewhat archaic distinction between uptown/downtown, the celebrity attendees were dressed perfectly for the occasion, with Olivia Palermo in Rachel Roy and Helena Christensen in Miu Miu.
