Last night, Zagat hosted a preview of Theatre, the new soon-to-be-hotspot in TriBeCa by Albert Trummer, the man behind Apothéke. The venue is said to be "an ode to German Cabaret". Well, we just so happen to be experts in German Cabaret, having seen the movie many many times, and are disappointed in the lack of musical numbers and EmCee. Luckily, the venue proved to be pretty awesome anyway.-
Also, lest you look terribly un-sophisticated, you should know that they're pronouncing it "thee-AT-rah", just to make it harder on you. It doesn't open til this fall, so at least you'll have plenty of time to practice your pretension pronunciation.

I heard that they were serving TY KU cocktails all night here? Did anyone go?? I'm wondering if they will always be serving them they are my favorite, I definitely want to check out this place in the near future!!
