[all images by Billy Farrell for PMc] The Cinema Society, the Suffolk County Film Commission and UGG Australia hosted a screening at the Crosby Street Hotel of "Paper Man," which stars Jeff Daniels, Emma Stone, and Ryan Reynolds. Olivia Palermo, Mike Myers, and Mark Indelicato all showed up to watch the flick as well...-

"Paper Man" is a story about the friendship between a has-been writer and a teenager from Long Island. There's also something in the movie about an imaginary superhero friend, which I suspect is what the title refers to, but I hesitate to guess about the specifics because I've been wrong about those kinds of things in the past and no deductive reasoning skills.

Beth Stern (current Howard Stern wife and former model), Mark Indelicato, Griffin Dunne, and Dree Hemingway checked out the movie for themselves, so they're not scratching their heads trying to figure out what a 2D illustrated superhero is doing in a movie about and old timer and a youngin'. We are, after all, living in a James Cameron world now, so the reversion back to comic book heroes sounds kind of retro. (In a good way. Retro in a good way.)
