Social Networking (In The Flesh) At Digg Swigg

Never has a party looked more like your bookmarks bar than when the minds behind Google, CNET, Facebook, Foursquare, and Boxee joined Digg.com for the Digg Swigg NY party last night. Guests from all walks of the online media world mingled at the Gansevoort Hotel's Tanuki Tavern for a cocktail reception complete with drinks, name tags, and a lot of smart phones.

The many accomplished attendees included Caroline McCarthy of CNET, Gawker's Nick Denton, Alan Murray of the Wall Street Journal, as well as Rachel Sklar, Nick Bilton,and Matt Van Horn of Digg.Needless to say, I'm sure there was a lot of twitter following, friend requesting, and maybe even some digit downloading going on in the room...
