The annual Raisa Gorbachev Foundation Gala in london was quite the fete. The chic guests included Claire Forlani, Vanessa Redgrave, Joely Richardson, Matthew Williamson, Anjelica Huston, Dougray Scott, David and Catherine Bailey, Elena Perminova and Alexander Lebedev and the guest of honor, Mikhail Gorbachev himself.-
The Stud House on the grounds of Hampton Court Palace in London was packed with attendees enjoying champagne. Guests spent the evening bidding on different auctions including a triptych by Francis Bacon and artworks by Jeff Koons, Marc Quinn and the fabulous David LaChappelle.
The foundation provides aid to Russian children with cancer and the British charity Marie Curie Cancer Care.
