Last night's runway show for the Spring/Summer 2012 collections of Keino Glennie's Dallas & Dynasty jewelry and Samantha Jovani's Sy'mone included a model walk, wine, hors d'oeuvres, and cocktails, with music by DJ IRS. The dress code? "Severe" as the invite said.
Keino Glennie, a native of Jamaica, is a jewelry and accessories designer based in Brooklyn. Samantha Jovani is a fashion designer born in Brooklyn and works out of her apartment there. Sy'mone is a collection meant to appeal to the woman with edge, class, and sex appeal. It is her third fashion collection. She also designs handbags that she considers unique, vintage, and eclectic.
