French artist Julien Marinetti was honored last night for his “Doggy John” sculptures with an installation of his monumental work at the New York Palace courtyard. The event was hosted by Nadia Rottger and Edward Mady, with Erin Fetherston, design icon Geoffrey Bradfield and New York City’s favorite nightlife/ restaurateur entrepreneur Amy Sacco.

Marinetti broke the trend of working with resin when he debuted his first “Doggy John” in 2004 constructing the sculpture (“support-surface”) in bronze. Each “Doggy John” is unique, reflecting society and its history through influential color choices. Phillip Bloch, Lady Liliana Cavendish, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Gillian Hearst-Shaw, Kim Mallis, Susan Shin, Mary Snow, Michelle Smith, Kristina Stewart Ward, Viktoria von Siemens and Carolina Zapf were just some of those who came out in support of Marinetti.
