The Stanley M. Isaacs Neighborhood Center held their annual wine tasting, “The Glass is Half Full," at Tavern last night. Provided by Ribera Wine and Murray's Cheese Shop, the event also featured a silent auction to raise money for the Center’s programs, which assist low-income individuals in meeting basic needs, such as meals and education.
Distinguished hosts included Alexa & Graham Bodel, Christina Cox, Peter W. Timmins, Quyen Tran, and Ashley Wareham, who raised a glass with guests to toast the Center's charitable cause.

Who knew that the farming world had a trend? Well, Mallory Sustick, a Brooklyn bartender, works like a dog to maintain, promote and advance the online farmer's market startup Plovgh that began after noticing a need for more local farm market distribution.
