Last night guests gathered around a red soccer ball at the Ico Gallery to raise money for disadvantaged children all over the world. The Nuru Project put on the event in order to benefit Right to Play, an organization that allows all children to play sports. Photos by Chris Steele-Perkins/Magnum, Yuri Kozyrev/NOOR, Ami Vitale/National Geographic were auctioned off and donations were made.

Right to Play provides a positive activity for children to participate in even when the world is in a distraught state. International professional athletes serve as role models for these kids despite their economic state.

The photographs made the cause come alive on the white walls of the gallery. Guests were moved by the extraordinary photographs of children living out their dreams of playing sports. A red soccer ball also served as inspiration and a fun activity for attendees to engage in.
