[All photos by Chance Yeh for PMc] Giorgio Armani rarely makes a misstep on the red carpet - from his thoughtful color choices (blacks, whites, soft pinks) to architectural construction. To celebrate dressing Hollywood's elite for over two decades, Armani is hosting an exhibition that will showcase some of his most memorable creations.

Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time to include the showstopping gowns Jennifer Lopez and Amanda Seyfried wore to this past Sunday's Academy Awards. The insane ensembles Lady Gaga and Beyonce wore to the Grammys will be there, though.

Last week, Amy Fine Collins and Vanity Fair teamed up to host the launch of the exhibition. Socialites such as Veronica Webb, Lizzie Tisch, Taylor Olson and Lia Marfillio came out to see the legendary pieces up close and personal.

If you want to check it out, the dresses will be on display at the Armani flagship on Fifth until March 21.
