The Ultimate Uptown Affair - Inside The Winter Show's Annual Design Luncheon

It's always a promising sign when an uptown afternoon affair starts with an 11AM champagne reception...

As ever, this year's Winter Show began with an aesthete-filled Design Luncheon, stylishly sponsored by Upper East Side-based fashion brand Cara Cara. Following private tours of the fair's exciting array of art and interiors, the 150 design-loving guests were treated to a seated luncheon in the Park Avenue Armory’s historic Board of Officers Room, a space transformed for the occasion by the talented tablescape talents of Everyday Elegance Collection. 

Throughout the meal Design Council Co-Chairs Billy Cotton, Ellen Hamilton, Alexa Hampton, Corey Damen Jenkins, Peter Pennoyer and Honorary Design Council Co-Chair Wendy Goodman took the stage to speak on all matters of the interior arts, from what it takes to create timeless spaces that hold true to their own individual taste, to working with client’s personalities and ways of living in mind.
