Join Guest of a Guest's Christie Grimm and Top Shelf Book Consulting's Mackenzie Newcomb for our exciting new series. Each month we host a gaggle of our coolest friends (that obviously includes you) for what's basically the most fun cocktail party where everybody just happened to read the same book. We'll dish on which characters we loved / hated, the latest stories circling around town, TV shows we're obsessed with, trendy restaurants we were so not impressed by - you know, important things!
For our Monday, October 16th event, we'll be reading Family Lore by Elizabeth Acevedo.
Because we're not like other book clubs, the dress code is Cocktail Chic. And obviously this should go without saying, but the chicer the better - especially since this month we're hitting up the annoyingly stylish Whitby Hotel.
Be ready to leave with a phone full of new friends, a copy of the next month's book, and treats from one of our favorite brands, Ellis Brooklyn.
