Summer's on our mind today:
I knew it all along, Bermuda WAS onto something. The dress shorts paired with a blazer look! After years of sweating it out all summer long, men everywhere (other than in Bermuda) have often wondered, “why can’t we wear shorts with our suits” when the thermometer hits 90 and no one wants to be in pants? Well now you can, that is, if your employer is fashion forward enough to let you wear shorts to work. Hitting the runways and the streets for SS08 is what I like to call the “short suit.” The suit with shorts look is perfected by Thom Browne this season with notable mention also going to D-Squared, Dries Van Noten, and Louis Vuitton and (gasp) H&M. Just so you know, two summers ago I pulled a pair of old black pants out of my closet, hacked off the legs, sewed a 1.5 inch cuff on them and wore it with a half unbuttoned tux shirt and wing tips to an evening event. Someone remarked to me: shorts in the evening? I stood my ground and said it was a fashion statement. Turns out, it’s a fashion trend that’s held court for two consecutive years.

brillant idea!if a woman's skirt can be knee length or less i dont see why men's have to be full length.its all about designing it to look right.
