The Eye Candy Twins At Bungalow 8

May 19, 2008 3:19 PM

The Eye Candy Twins At Bungalow 8So apparently Amy Sacco's Monday night fame is still going strong. We will have to be the judge of that, but we just received words that the (HOT) Eye Candy twins will be hosting Monday nights at Bungalow 8. Rolling Stone Magazine named them Europe and Asia's #1 Hottest Dj's. There's no denying that they are HOT...but is their sound good?? Has anyone heard these two live???

I've followed their careers for quite some time, since they had their name sake club night EYE CANDY. The name is gifted to them because of the crowd that follows them and they seem to take that fanbase every where with them. I know friends in Denmark who are big fans of theirs and have recommended them, so I shall be at Bungalow 8 tonight with my disco slippers freshly polished! Rowan XX

I couldn't make it to Bungalow 8, but I heard they were fun, so I managed to get to (after standing in line for over an hour) their other New York Performance at Nikki Beach. They were very energetic and seemed to encourage the crowd in to the DJ booth with them. It was really very amusing to watch. I've never seen DJ's behave like that before, but I guess they can because there's 2 of them. Are they straight or gay? I couldn't tell. They were very sweet to everyone though and took time to have pictures taken with everyone who asked.

I Just watched these guys in downtown L.A last weekend. Boy that was some energy.. I Havent seen anything like it before, Not even from our L.A local Steve Aoki. Their music was mainly what i would refer to as Electronic. Justice Daft punk etc, with some electro and definately house thrown in.. Infact at one point they played Phil Collins "easy lover" and the crowd went with it 100% So i can only assume that they know exactly what they are doing as I am no Phil Fan. I remember M.A.N.D.Y body language was their last track of the evening, but the crowd screamed for more so they played The Ramones Blitzkrieg bop.. They climbed up onto the Turn tables and sang along.. I must admit that it was a rather spectacular show and they for sure have passion.. They are u.k based though i think?? Anyway i googled them and other than their myspace and various youtube clips i found myself here..!

Seriously they are showing up everywhere! Just saw them last night at a French Tuesday event at Goa in Hollywood after seeing them in New York. Everyone was dancing and from watching I noticed they are almost as popular with the crowd as their music was with those of the floor. It was a lot of fun but for those serious about their music, I have no doubt they too would have been impressed. They are indeed eye candy and I am happy to see them again.

I know them. I saw them at their B8 event, but was turned away from the French Tuesdays event the next day for dress code violation. They were up in arms when they found out. Great guys.

I would still like to see where Rolling Stone named them Europe and Asia's #1 DJs. Seem unlikely, but nothing's impossible.

I heard these guys play in Vegas opening up for Morillo recently. They definitely have energy but I would describe their whole show as being based on style versus substance. They train-wrecked a couple of mixes... I heard they claim they are responsible for the re-emergence of house music in the U.S. - I won't even comment on the how ridiculous that claim is.
