[All photos by Billy Farrell for PMc]. Even more interesting than a crowd including Brooke Shields, Debbie Bancroft, Nicole Miller, Mort Zuckerman, Chuck Scarborough, David Koch, Candace Bushnell, Prince Dimitri of Yugoslavia, Frederic Fekkai, Liliana Cavendish, Helen Lee Schifter, Ambassador John Loeb Jr, Alina Cho, Muffie Potter Aston and Somers Farkas was the decoration choice of possibly one of the most disturbing things we have ever seen.

There, among the white painted branches, ornaments, jewels and snow owls was a "Deer Child." That sounds cute, but it isn't. It's rather unsettling, and was nestled among the spectacle. Maybe it is from a movie, or I'm missing out on something, but even looking at this little alien thing scares me. I've placed it at the bottom, so you can opt out of viewing, should you feel so inclined.

Is this not the most disturbing thing you have ever seen?

This looks very similar to a piece from Art Basel Miami by artist Kate Clark that sold for around $30,000 to a Parisian buyer. [nymag.com]
