Confidence is key when you're an outsider. No one knows who you are, and they won't care... unless you make them. Don't ever minimize what you do.
DO say:
"I'm a blogger for [your blog's name]. I cover a lot of fashion events."DON'T say:
"I started a silly little blog one night a few months ago. It's really not a big deal, and I have, like, five followers."OR
