Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, queens of the hyphenated career titles (teenage billionaires/respected fashion designers/NYU students/actors/latte fans) debuted their new juniors collection for JC Penney, christened OlsenBoye, at oh-so-chic Norwood.
Their first foray into fashion created a Wal-Mart empire, and two years ago the Olsens tackled high fashion with their labels The Row and Elizabeth and James. This left a wide gap between the high and the low, between $2 tutus and $200 tee shirts. Enter Olsenboye! The line's celebratory bash drew heavy-weights in the teen fashion industry. Teen Vogue's Amy Astley and footwear demigod Steve Madden, as well as a slew of stylish twenty-somethings angling for a meet-and-greet with the queens of boho chic. Even actor Justin Bartha, Ashley's boyfriend and our recent Style Phile, came to cheer on his girl and take advantage of the free martinis.
