Step Into The Stars Shoes (And Gowns) Thanks To Convivio

by NATASHA STORER · June 10, 2010

Want to step into the shoes of  Rihanna (FYI - she wears a Size 9)? Have a desire to don the gown of a recently scorned Oscar winner? Then it's your lucky shopping day!to

    -

Convivio Italy's largest and most high profile charity effort to raise money for ANLAIDS (the National Association for the Fight Against Aids), celebrates it's 10th year with a variety of fashion and luxury brands offering huge discounts and a sale of celebrity outfits being held in Milan to raise money.

Franca Sozzani, the Chief Editor of Vogue Italia, is the event's supervisor, and has ensured that this year, the vintage area is dedicated to pieces previously-owned by some of your favorite celebrities.

So, if you have the big bucks to spend, you can slip into a white Lady Gaga number. Lady Gaga has made a number of dramatic arrivals wearing Francesco Scognamiglio’s clothes, such as the futuristic Marie Antoinette inspired white tiered custom-made cape with wig that premiered at the 2010 Brit Awards. While the Scognamiglio for sale here is also white, it is a much tamer (and wearable) long-sleeved white dress that wouldn't look out of place at a LA Movie Premiere.

Perhaps a purple Bottega Veneta gown worn by Sandra Bullock to the Golden Globes fulfills your desire to step into the shoes (albeit dress) of an Oscar winner.

If not a fan of the regal look and want something sexy and edgy, look no further that the hot Versace worn by fellow Oscar winner and yummy mummy Halle Berry.

Among other items for sale include a Marni outfit worn by Julia Roberts, a Prada dress put on by up and comer Carey Mulligan, a Missoni dress displayed by Spanish seductress Penelope Cruz and Frida Giannini, is donating, what else, a Gucci dress.

Free-loading socialites beware, Sozzani has made it clear that no matter who you are, you will still need to pay top dollar for the honor of being the owner of a star worn designer outfit. There are no freebies when charity is involved!

    Happy bidding!
