The High Line's new temporary open air roller rink, one of the only outdoor rinks in Manhattan, will be opening next Thursday. With different theme nights, it's a perfect way to spend an evening outside. We tell you how to look good in spandex, tube socks, colored sunglasses and short shorts.

So, what to wear?

Regardless of the decade, roller rinks will always be synonymous with the glittery, tacky goodness of the 1970s. Make sure to stock up on some high-waisted bright shorts, tube socks and funky shades!

1.) Stretch bull denim high-waist cut-offs, American Apparel, 46$, buy HERE.

2.) Unisex Stripe Calf White 3 Pack, American Apparel, 18$, buy HERE.

3.) Butterfly Lace Crop Top, Forever 21, 14$. Buy HERE.

4.) Jerry Sunglass Vintage Shades, American Apparel, $45. Buy HERE.

The High Line Rink will be open for the summer only, from July 28 - September 26.

Presented by UNIQLO, the rink will be accompanied by a UNIQLO Cube shop adjacent to the rink, where skaters can purchase all the skating gear they need.
