Everything You Need To Know About New York Fashion Week

    Tomorrow marks the beginning of New York Fashion Week. High profile debuts, major comebacks, and under-the-radar venues are making this fashion week one of the most talked about seasons. If you can't make it to Lincoln Center, there are plenty of other Fashion Week related activities and events taking place across the city. Here's everything you need to know to keep up over the next week!

    Dates: February 7th- February 14th

    Schedule: Click HERE for a complete schedule of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

    Venues: The Theatre, Stage, Studio and Box at Lincoln Center will be the center of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York, where more than 80 runway shows will take place. Outside venues include the Grand Promenade at Avery Fisher Hall, the New York Public Library, and MADE Fashion Week at Milk Studios.

    Other under-the-radar venues: Emerging designers, who may not be able to afford the costs of the Tents this season, are choosing alternative venues. Look forward to seeing Libertine at Cafe Rouge, Gilded Age at Chez Andre in the Standard East Village, and Tia Cibani at the Baryshnikov Arts Center.

    Watch Live: For the first time there will be a live-stream of every runway show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. The videos will be available at newyork.mbfashionweek.com and facebook.com/mbfashionweek, courtesy of IMG and Rightster.

    Debuts: Click HERE to see the new designers debuting in NYFW Fall 2013 such as Bibhu Mohapartra, Marissa Webb, and Brandon Sun.

    Comebacks: After two years away, John Galliano, the former creative director of Christian Dior, is rumored to be returning to the runway with Oscar de la Renta. Chloë Sevigny is also returning to the Tents this season. She will be debuting her new collaborative collection with Opening Ceremony at Saint Mark's Church in the East Village on February 9th. Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon and other musicians will perform while modeling Chloë's new collection.

    Other News: Two New York Fashion Week Hackathons, Hearst Fashion Hack by Hearst publications and Fashion Decoded hosted by IMG and the CFDA, are taking place. During the Hackathon, web developers will race to create the best fashion app. Finalists for the Fashion Decoded will be awarded on February 14 at Lincoln Center.
