Tokio 7

Tokio 7
Don’t let the life-size Predator statue standing guard outside freak you out. The only thing you’re likely to gasp about inside this East Village staple are the low prices. Founded in 1995 by its owner from—you guessed it!—Tokyo, Japan, this consignment shop is one of the largest and most-recognized in New York, while clearly keeping its quirk. With an ever-evolving inventory including modern Japanese labels like Issey Miyake and Yohji Yamamoto as well as a major denim selection, Tokio 7 is definitely worth the brush past a Predator.
