Ankle Straps
This trend was pretty much inescapable at every fashion week for spring. Heels with thick ankle straps were the shoe of choice for an array of designers including Belstaff, Emporio Armani, and Prabal Gurung. Armani's version, seen at Milan, is a great way to test out the trend. The classic stiletto shape lets the ankle strap take center stage and lends a modern, sleek vibe to the look. The shoe is a versatile choice too. It can look cute with shorts, a pencil skirt or cropped pants.
