Celebrating 30 Years of CHOWing Down

[All photos by CHANCE YEH for PMc]. Last night at Mr. Chow NYC, famous fans of the restaurant brand, including Mischa Barton, Olivia Palermo, Brooke Shields, and Hamish Bowles came out to celebrate it's 30th Anniversary. -

The successful franchise, which has locations on both east and west coasts, has turned cuisine from the dynasty land into more than just short order take out.  Michael and Tina Chow's original vision and taste for the finer things clearly left a lasting impression judging by the fact that things are not slowing down for the Mr. Chow brand.  They were true ingenue's when they started the business and one of the firsts to create a lifestyle of glamour fusing the food and fashion world (as chronicled in last month's Harper's Bazaar on the fashion legacy of Tina Chow).  The who's who of the New York social scene was loud and present including Eva and China Chow, Chris Henchy, Hal Rubenstein, Elisa Lipsky Karasz, PageSix columnist Cindy Adams, Erin Featherston, and many more...
