David Stark Put Your Old West Elm Catalog To Use For The Store's Upper West Side Opening

    West Elm just opened their brand new location on New York City's Upper West Side with a little help from designer David Stark who celebrated the new store by taking hundreds of West Elm catalogs and tons of the store's recycled packing materials creating art and furniture ranging from lamps, clocks, and chairs. That's right, you're very own shredded West Elm catalog armchair!

    Guests including Amy McFarland, Beatrix Ost, John Owen, and Charles Matheson attended the store's grand opening Tuesday night to check out the space and Stark's uniquely recycled collection that was auctioned off with proceeds benefiting the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum.
