The New York screening of "Every Little Step", the movie following the struggle of real-life dancers auditioning for the 2006 Broadway revival of "A Chorus Line", was held last night at The Paris Theatre. In attendance were not only the actors currently in the Broadway show, but many of those who were featured in "Every Little Step" who just didn't quite make the final cut. At least they get to see their name in lights one way or another.

All ticket sales benefited The Actors Fund.

So they made a movie about dancers trying out for a musical based on dancers trying out? Fucking stupid.

I am excited about seeing this process. Some of us can only dream about this kind of life and this lets us have a moment to enhance our imaginations about our own "What ifs."
