Hassenfeld Committee Proves That Playing Games Can Do Good

    Wednesday night Cipriani 23rd Street hosted the Adults in Toyland Casino Night, hosted by The Hassenfeld Committee and Harrah’s Foundation.  Co-Chairs Susan Block Casdin, Morgan Hertzan, Steven Jaffe, Patti Kim, and Kelly Kennedy Mack welcomed guests like Gary Loveman, CEO of Harrah’s, Miss USA Rachel Smith, Ben Silverman, Rocco Dispirito, Lawrence Bender, John Starks and Herb Williams of the Knicks, Lizzie and Jonathan Tisch, Dori Cooperman, Daniella Rick, Richard Kilstock, Dale and Elizabeth Hemmerdinger, and Hassenfeld family members, Sylvia, and Allan and Vivien Hassenfeld, as well as Mr. and Mrs. John Hassenfeld to the casino night.

    The games were not limited to the casino; guests played Battleship, Operation, Connect Four, and fierce Nerf rocket wars broke out throught the evening.  The money raised at the 2008 Adults In Toyland Casino Night will support the Stephen D. Hassenfeld Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at NYU Langone Medical Center.
