Don't scream at an associate from across the store.
Would you like it if I screamed "hey, you" across the store to get your attention? Retail associates, regardless if they're paid to help you, deserve more than a "hey, you" that they might not even hear. Stores can get noisy when they're packed, and most associates at big stores wear walkies, so it's more productive to kindly find an associate to ask for their assistance. The associate will know who's talking to them and no one will be rubbed the wrong way.
