Friday night, Paper Magazine and Ray-Ban celebrated Paper's annual summer music issue at the highly anticipated 2009 Sounds Like Paper at the stunning South Street Seaport. Prep-pop duo, Chester French, performed selected songs from their upcoming album, Love the Future, and got the crowd ravenously hungry for hipster-hip-hopper, Kid Cudi, who carried the honeyed heat and heavy hype with him during his powerful performance and topped off the enchanted evening by daringly diving into the sea of sweaty hands and fanatical fans. After the stimulating show, guests delightfully danced the night away to dazzling DJ sets by Brooklyn noise-rock legends Les Savy Fav, swooned over Paper Magazine's notorious summer music issue, and drank delicious drafts provided by Japanese brewery, Asahi. Can life get any better than that?
