Kips Bay Holds 2009 Preview Gala And Cocktails At Asprey

[Anderson Cooper, Gloria Vanderbilt, Matthew Patrick Smyth.  All photos by BILLY FARRELL for PMc] Last night, guests were on hand for cocktails served at Asprey for the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club 2009 Preview Gala.  On display for the viewing pleasure of the elegant crowd which included Charlotte Moss, Mario Buatta, Joyce Carol Oates and Pat Carey, was a preview of the Kips Bay Show House.  Gloria Vanderbilt captured her nostalgia for an old room through a recreation titled "Memories and Desires Bedroom," which was also featured in the preview and where she scrawled on a wall “I fell in love with the room and forever after tried to recapture it...".  Our sentiments exactly.
