Kylie Jenner Has Teamed Up With Balmain & Beats By Dre

The youngest Kardashian has taken a break from cosmetics to pursue music... and by music we mean listening to music through the new line of wireless headphones released by Dr. Dre. Balmain's creative director, Olivier Rousteing released his new collaboration with Dr. Dre this past week at Balmain's Melrose store. The French designer created a custom headphone collection that is everything you would think a Balmain inspired collection would be: metallic gold fantastic with army green tones.

Rousteing divulged in an interview with Vogue.com that he had long set out plans to work with the rapper turned business man, Dr. Dre. Balmain's luxury Parisienne aesthetic does complement the high quality portable sound system that the rapper has pioneered. The exclusive collection features Beats’ signature over-ear Studio Wireless headphones and the sportier Powerbeats3 Wireless earphones, both of which have been crafted to fit Rousteing’s #BalmainArmy signature aesthetic.

Balmain's creative director directed and photographed Balmain Fall 2017 advertisements for the products and chose to enlist his personal friend, Kylie Jenner for the job. Rousteing claims the It Girl was a perfect fit thanks to her popularity with the "new world" (aka millennials who spend too much money on her custom cosmetics). These cool, new products are definitely not as cheap as her lipgloss sets, however - the wireless headphones will sell for $599.95 and the Powerbeats3 for $249.95, which are now available at Balmain's New York and LA flagship stores.

Do we see a Jenner and Rousteing collaboration pending? Yes, and we are hoping it will be #BalmainArmy lip gloss set, because if anyone can pull off green gloss it is Kylie Jenner.
